Clariance is proud to announce the release of the latest version of Monitance, which further enhances the product's capabilities.

Specific aspects of version 1.5.3 include:

1. the ability to monitor specific types of files with defined attributed
2. an improved way of issuing notifications for server reboots required by scheduled and regular upgrades of server OS

Today we've decided to being this presentation to your attention. That's not because it's particularly clear or because it makes a point we agree with. No. It is because we truly admire the enthusiasm of its authors, their dedication to open-sources approaches and their work to try to explain all of the intricacies of such tools. 

We've been there. So, we know that monitoring is really not an easy thing to do well. And we know there's a gazillion things you could conceivably do. Some of those things are super cool for techies. But that's not the point. The point is to make monitoring easy and really useful for business and its key decision makers. So, in a way this presentation is nice because it's the exact opposite of what Clariance set out to do for people in business: make monitoring simple, lean and effective.

Clariance has been working very quietly for the past couple of years to lay the foundations of a service that makes it possible for businesses to get the full benefits of IT systems monitoring without all the hassle, cost and trouble of deploying and maintaining complex tools to do so. Nous avons le plaisir d'annoncer que la version 1.5.3 de Monitance est d'ores et déjà disponible sur notre plateforme de Monitoring-as-a-Service. Cette nouvelle version vous apporte:

1. un monitoring fin des fichiers qui transitent par vos serveurs avec notamment la capacité de définir les types de fichiers à suivre et les attributs sur lesquels vous souhaitez être alertés
2. des capacités de notification affinées, notamment pour traiter comme événements non sévères les re-démarrages de serveurs suite à une mise à jour automatique et régulière du système d'exploitation du serveur
